John Andersen – Australian Artist

Contemporary Australian artist bringing colour and imagination together.

John Andersen is a painter and a colourist. His works are inspired by nature, emotions, music and imagination. Having widely traveled the Australian bush and cities, currently residing in Woodgate Beach Queensland.

John has won several art awards including one at regional Queensland’s premier art events the ‘Bundaberg Art Prize’. Balancing representation and abstraction, his unique style creates work that invokes the viewers imagination. John also enjoys painting landscapes in a semi-abstract style. Preferred mediums are acrylics, watercolour and ink.

John’s strong sense of colour combined with a vivid imagination, produces pleasing and unique artwork.
